The trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An is in itself a beautiful experience that you cannot afford to miss.

In Han Noi, there is so much to experience and explore from soaking the sun up at the beach to a shopping tour in the city. You can also choose to spend some time at a beach resort relaxing and unwinding yourself by the beach or pool.

Hoi An is one of those tourist attractions in Vietnam that are not enough to explore in a single day. On this day, you can rent a bike and begin your self-guided tour of the city. You can cover all those attractions that you didn’t get a chance to explore on day 3. Apart from the beach, Hoi An also has beautiful villages and the rice fields that are worth every effort.

Day 5: 10 Days in Vietnam

 Hoi An

If I say another day in Hoi An, trust me, that would not be a bad call. There is still so much to experience in the city, biking being one of them. Regardless of your fitness, motorbike tour to the rural villages of Hoi An is a must-have experience in the city. Scuba Diving & Snorkelling is undoubtedly the best thing to do in Hoi An with different varieties of fish and coral making a beautiful underwater world. Take the afternoon flight to Hanoi, which would be your next stopover.

Day 6: 10 Days in Vietnam

Hanoi

10 Days in Vietnam

Hanoi, the northern capital of Vietnam, on the banks of the Red River is one of the not-to-miss places on a 2 weeks Vietnam itinerary. It is reckoned to be one of the world’s ancient capitals. The tourism scene of the city consists of well-preserved colonial buildings, museums, ancient pagodas, vibrant nightlife, and yes the delectable cuisine. The French and Russian influences can also be seen in the most attractions in the city. Some of the popular attractions you can choose to visit on this day are:

  • The Perfume Pagoda
  • Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son
  • Dong Xuan Market
  • Hanoi Old Quarter
  • Ba Vi National Park
  • Temple of Literature
  • Hanoi Opera House

Day 7, 8 & 9: 10 Days in Vietnam

Halong Bay Tour or Sapa

Your Vietnam holidays will never be completed without a three-day tour to Halong Bay. The tour will begin on day 7 and ends somewhere on day 9.

10 Days in Vietnam

In order to reach, there are many options for Halong Bay cruise that fits in the pocket of travelers of all budgets. Now if you are wondering what you will be doing there for three days, then fret not, these 3 days in Halong Bay itinerary will give the answers to all your questions.

If some reason, you’re not covering Halong Bay, Sapa is another must-visit attraction on this Vietnam travel guide. This option will give you an opportunity to get teleported from a vibrant lifestyle of Hanoi to the countryside and rice paddies of Sapa. You can leave for Sapa on day 7 and can spend the next two days hiking all around the exquisiteness of northern Vietnam.

Day 10: 10 Days in Vietnam

Hanoi

On the last day of this Vietnam trip, you will be back to Hanoi. It is good to cover all the things and activities on the last day that you didn’t get a chance to do in earlier days. You can go for last-minute shopping or can go for a spa massage or maybe both. If not, you can just choose to relax or take a stroll around the streets

That’s all for these two weeks in Vietnam. If you are planning a trip to Vietnam do let us know if you have any questions. Also, to make the most of your vacation, consider the best time to visit Vietnam which is February to April and August to October.

The first of many posts from our trip to Costa Ric The first of many posts from our trip to Costa Rica. This was not only a much-needed trip away from the computer but a great opportunity to celebrate my 30th birthday! ⁣
⁣
This was the first trip I have ever been on that I didn’t plan a single thing. I didn’t look at any maps I didn’t care where we went, just wanted to spend some much-needed alone time with @jrherrm. ⁣
⁣
A couple of things we learned….⁣
⁣
It rains a lot in the rainforest 😂 🌧⁣
⁣
When searching for wildlife, you need to look closely or pay for a guide that has a telescope. ⁣
⁣
Make sure you bring some @western_rise clothes because they are about the only durable and quick-dry clothes that were actually able to dry with the humidity in the rain forest: Discount Code DIVERTLIVING⁣
⁣
Bring an umbrella, Rain jackets won’t cut it.⁣
⁣
When booking a rental car, just expect your price to double from what your reservation says.⁣
⁣
Spend an entire day in the hot springs, but make sure your reservation is made no later than seven days in advance⁣
⁣
Hiking shoes and water shoes are a must⁣

We just arrived in Tel Aviv and I have to say this We just arrived in Tel Aviv and I have to say this is truly one of my favorite cities I have ever visited! Every city and place in the world has positives and negatives and all of these differ by each person. When you research a city or visit a city you have to be open to knowing you will not like everything about each place.⁣
⁣
And that brings me to this point. ⁣
⁣
I hate the Negativity, the constant bad-mouthing of people and places based on a select few. To be honest, if I listened to everything I saw or heard I wouldn't travel anywhere due to rumors or fear. ⁣
⁣
If I have learned anything over the years it’s this, just because you see something on the news or a post on the internet doesn’t mean you should jump to conclusions. Make your own decisions, learn first hand what the people are like what the food is like, and come to your own conclusions. ⁣
⁣
Be open, be accepting, be courteous and be careful what you believe.⁣
⁣
The people in Israel have been nothing but incredible. I really don’t think I had one bad interaction the entire trip and I can’t wait to go back and see more!⁣

When it comes to travel and research you can spend hours researching all the best things to do and see but nothing will compare to the suggestions from locals. Almost every place I travel to I always make sure to ask all the locals we interact with what their recommendations are. ⁣
⁣
Today's recommendation led us two hours into the jungle to some pretty incredible caves and waterfalls. ⁣
⁣
I ended up leaving @steveyalo at the cave, this is the last I saw of him the whole trip. I think he may still be there doing Thai chi in the jungle⁣

Riding the chairlift up at @bristolmountain this past weekend was amazing, taking in the long ride and just enjoying the company and scenery. It was a great weekend for fall activities. ⁣

I am currently working on another Puerto Rico Vlog while planning another trip. This trip is to a new continent and three new countries I’ve never been to. Really really excited, any guesses where it will be?⁣

I have so many friends from the military that are from PR and they always talked about how diverse it is. I can say PR really does have the best of everything, beaches, waterfalls, food, rainforest. You name it, they have it. Bonus - It's only a $250 round trip ticket from NYC 😆⁣
