The Warm Welcome of Jaipur The Pink City

April 29, 2019 By Jimmy Huss

Jaipur is one of the must-visit cities in India. Each traveler has something that draws them to Jaipur and leaves them with a great impact. Tah and I also experienced the essence of the pink city.

As Valentine’s day was around the corner, we decided on living the King’s life. Yes, literally! We had book our stay in the fantabulous Alsisar Mahal. It was such a wonderful place with so many things to adore. You can check our video of the Alsisar Mahal and its beauty. We would blindly recommend Alsisar Mahal for various reasons.

    • 1.1 Bye to Alsisar Mahal!

    • 2.1 Below are some of the reasons and places to visit in Jaipur in one day:

Market in Jaipur

On one of the days, we had been out in the streets and had observed so many things that were totally different than our recent stay in Delhi. After a super-duper lunch, Tah spotted her spirit animal, the goat and the pathway where it was standing. The pathway led to a market. What’s better than going and exploring it?!

We spotted local grown vegetables and fruits, small vendors sending various items like purses and street food joints. As we already had a wholesome lunch, we decided to sit at a tea shop there. People in the tea shop gathered there asking us various questions about our origin and profession! Tah showed some of our videos to them. What an amazing feeling it was to watch the videos we created, among total strangers in Jaipur!

Bye to Alsisar Mahal!

It was that time of our trip where we had to vacate our two-day luxury palace stay in Alsisar Mahal! That was definitely a very bitter feeling.

Book rooms with Wego

We had booked another room for the rest of our Jaipur trip. We booked through the website Wego. This is one amazing website that we found and it is available in 130+ countries. You can find all the listings of various websites in one single place in Wego. With so many filters, you will quickly be able to find out the place of stay, quickly.

We finally reached our new place to stay! Led by a garden, was the entrance of the stay. We liked the room at the very first instance! It was definitely basic but clean. A cozy bed, able to work and a very neat bathroom was all that we needed. The price was as affordable as $11. Isn’t that a good deal! We also had an admiring view in the balcony, outside the room.

Why should you have a Jaipur city tour?

Have you read about the Golden Triangle of India? Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur form the golden triangle! Any traveler visiting India should make plans to visit these three places. Jaipur, being the part of this Golden Triangle is a perfect place for any kind of traveler. Every year millions of people explore all the places to visit in Jaipur and experience its rich culture and heritage!

Like many of the cities, Jaipur also has undergone the impacts of trade and technology. But, it somehow carries its royal heritage so beautifully. There are so many Havelis, temples and ancient buildings that will make you go wow!

Below are some of the reasons and places to visit in Jaipur in one day:

Fascinating Forts

There is an endless number of forts and fortresses in Jaipur. Each of them gives you the most blissful experience by dating back to the lives of Rajas and Ranis. If you want something adventurous then, hot air ballooning is for you! There are many more activities inside the fort.

When we arrived in jaipur the first thing we wanted to do was relax and take a breath. We were so happy to find a quiet spot at #alsisarhaveli all to ourselves. — — If you are traveling jaipur I would recommend stopping here and seeing Asia’s number one rated heritage hotel. It’s really a stunning place, plus they have a really nice pool and bar 😂 — — #notravellimit #divertliving #pinkcity

The first of many posts from our trip to Costa Ric The first of many posts from our trip to Costa Rica. This was not only a much-needed trip away from the computer but a great opportunity to celebrate my 30th birthday! ⁣
⁣
This was the first trip I have ever been on that I didn’t plan a single thing. I didn’t look at any maps I didn’t care where we went, just wanted to spend some much-needed alone time with @jrherrm. ⁣
⁣
A couple of things we learned….⁣
⁣
It rains a lot in the rainforest 😂 🌧⁣
⁣
When searching for wildlife, you need to look closely or pay for a guide that has a telescope. ⁣
⁣
Make sure you bring some @western_rise clothes because they are about the only durable and quick-dry clothes that were actually able to dry with the humidity in the rain forest: Discount Code DIVERTLIVING⁣
⁣
Bring an umbrella, Rain jackets won’t cut it.⁣
⁣
When booking a rental car, just expect your price to double from what your reservation says.⁣
⁣
Spend an entire day in the hot springs, but make sure your reservation is made no later than seven days in advance⁣
⁣
Hiking shoes and water shoes are a must⁣

We just arrived in Tel Aviv and I have to say this We just arrived in Tel Aviv and I have to say this is truly one of my favorite cities I have ever visited! Every city and place in the world has positives and negatives and all of these differ by each person. When you research a city or visit a city you have to be open to knowing you will not like everything about each place.⁣
⁣
And that brings me to this point. ⁣
⁣
I hate the Negativity, the constant bad-mouthing of people and places based on a select few. To be honest, if I listened to everything I saw or heard I wouldn't travel anywhere due to rumors or fear. ⁣
⁣
If I have learned anything over the years it’s this, just because you see something on the news or a post on the internet doesn’t mean you should jump to conclusions. Make your own decisions, learn first hand what the people are like what the food is like, and come to your own conclusions. ⁣
⁣
Be open, be accepting, be courteous and be careful what you believe.⁣
⁣
The people in Israel have been nothing but incredible. I really don’t think I had one bad interaction the entire trip and I can’t wait to go back and see more!⁣

When it comes to travel and research you can spend hours researching all the best things to do and see but nothing will compare to the suggestions from locals. Almost every place I travel to I always make sure to ask all the locals we interact with what their recommendations are. ⁣
⁣
Today's recommendation led us two hours into the jungle to some pretty incredible caves and waterfalls. ⁣
⁣
I ended up leaving @steveyalo at the cave, this is the last I saw of him the whole trip. I think he may still be there doing Thai chi in the jungle⁣
