The Philippines is over seven thousand islands, all with their own unique charm and stunning beaches. There are a lot of places that aren’t jammed with tourists at every turn. The Philippines still has many hidden secrets and some not so hidden.
You can spend a few months exploring the many islands and still not even be close to seeing it all, but three to four weeks is enough time to give you a small taste of island life and make you fall in love. Most of the time you will be traveling from island to island by ferries and buses – many of the islands don’t have airports and if they do it is very expensive to fly into them. See which islands catch your eye and make sure you mark out your route! Most of the time its easiest to use Rome2Rio and google maps. This will help find the best ways to get from point A to point B. Make sure you don’t sacrifice your time for money. We have had our fair share of travel mistakes along the way. The beautiful islands always make up for it.
