Tibumana Waterfall

Visiting Tibumana Waterfall is one of the must things to do in Bali. Located at a distance of just 15 km from Ubud, Tibumana Waterfall is one of the concealed solitaires in the region. The serenity and setting of this place is something that is beyond description. The fall has a straight stream of water. But that’s not what tourists like the most about this place. People can swim in the waters of the fall. However, make sure you bring your own swimsuit. It won’t be wrong to call Tukad Cepung as one of the most beautiful and gorgeous waterfalls near all the Ubud shops. But as every good thing comes with a price, you have to indulge in a good deal of walking in order to get to this beautiful waterfall in Bali. Here at this fall, the pulchritudinous sight of sunlight pouring through the waterfall from the sky above triggered a sense of awestruck in me. Being one of the most popular tourist sites in the region, you can expect to find a large crowd of tourists at this place. Yet another popular waterfall site around Ubud is Tengenungan Waterfall. It is also recognized as one of the most-visited waterfalls in Ubud. If you want to ignore the crowd, then prefer visiting the waterfall site early in the morning. Tegenungan Waterfall in Ubud is located at top of a valley. The best sight here is the water falling down a cliff in an open pool at the base. There are concrete steps that lead you to this open pool where you can take a dip in the fresh azure water. Not just this, you can also enjoy the sprays of water while standing on the ledge.

Kuning Waterfall

Some 20 km northeast of Ubud Center, Kuning Waterfall is yet another scenic waterfall in the Tibumana region. Kuning is basically a twin or waterfall which is protecting the entrance of a cave. This cave houses the idol of a very famous Balinese Hindu Deity – Raja Besakih. Talking about the waterfall, it flows from a height of 20 meters and the water cascade downs into a shallow pool of crystal clear water. Not just this, the pool is encircled by huge rocks. However, these rocks are a bit slippery, and hence, it is advisable to be careful while stepping on them. On the whole, Kuning Waterfall is one such perfect hideout where you capture some amazing and breathtaking clicks for your Instagram. Also, this waterfall site is quite popular amongst tourists, thus, it gets crowded during the evening. Therefore, the best time to visit this place is early in the morning.
