Sometimes you have to look at things from a differ Sometimes you have to look at things from a different perspective in order to see what you hoped for. As you travel getting to locations early is a must for me, being able to capture places and people without having the mass crowds is hard if you aren’t an early bird. It took a little bit of waiting to get the right shots but it was well worth the wait 😍⁣

It all started with a culture shock, a feeling of It all started with a culture shock, a feeling of uncertainty, the feeling of something new. For me travel, all started in 2016 when I was first stationed in South Korea. I got off the plane at 11 PM and had no clue what to expect, what to eat, or how to get around or find my way. This was the turning point in my life. The point that forced me outside of my comfort zone, pushed me to be a better person and learn something new. ⁣
⁣
When I travel people ask me how I choose destinations. It used to be based on cost, where I could go that was cheapest, while still allowing me to step outside of my comfort zone. Now it's based on experience, although I was hoping for more vibrant wildlife Costa Rica was a place that allowed me to not only put myself and @jrherrm in a completely new situation but see some of the most beautiful birds we have ever seen. ⁣

I have to say La Fortuna was my favorite place we I have to say La Fortuna was my favorite place we visited in Costa Rica Full of incredible sites, beautiful wildlife, and the sounds of waterfalls and nature around every corner. One of the coolest parts about La Fortuna is right in the center of town is there is Parroquia San Juan Bosco. This is a small church where on a clear day you can see Arenal Volcano steaming in the back!⁣
⁣
The plan is to visit again, but this time I think we will head to deep into the rainforest where things are a little bit more undeveloped and hard to reach.⁣
