This is undoubtedly the most popular Siquijor tourist spots. I would personally suggest that if you are on a trip to Siquijor, then be prepared to visit Cambugagahay Falls at least twice or thrice. Wondering why? Well, such is the charm of this place that no one can be satiated with just a single visit to Cambugahaya Falls in Siquijor. This three-tier waterfall has three lagoons that are aquamarine in color. On a hot day, there is nothing divine than just spending a few hours in the refreshing water of the fall. To make this place even more amazing, there are bamboo rafts and rope swings. On the whole, this place is magical in itself.
Lugnason Falls
What if I tell you Lugnason are falls based on Zodiac signs, would you believe it? Well, believe it or not, but that’s true! Lugnason Falls is the most known of all the 12 waterfalls called Zodiac Falls. To reach here, you must be well prepared with a good pair of shoe to walk a lot. There are different parts There are different paths that take you from one fall to the next. Here at Lugnason Falls, you will get to see a large crowd of tourists, mainly locals. But, they are super friendly.
Lagaan Falls
Though Lagaan Falls is not as big as the other waterfalls of Siquijor, at the same time, it is less crowded that makes it a great peaceful hideout for travelers. The waterfall site also has a natural slide and a rope swing. Plunging into the turquoise blue water is itself is a fun thing to do here at Lagaan Falls. There is also a small climb-through along with several caves. The entry ticket of Lagaan Falls is just for 50 pesos. However, if you are on your bike, you have to 10 pesos extra for parking.
Locong Falls
You would be amazed to know that there are some secret falls that are not even marked on Google Maps and Locong Falls is one of them. Trust me, it is one of the best places to visit in Siquijor. Nothing can beat the serenity of this place. Besides, the mesmerizing beauty is a treat to eyes. Once you are here make sure not to leave any carbon footprints considering the beauty of this place. Also, it’s a request from my side that please do not mark this place on Google Maps as the pristine setting of this waterfall is well-preserved in that way only. Since this place is not known to the outside world, hence, you might find it difficult to reach here. People residing here are super friendly and lovable, you can ask them to guide you to your destination.
Kawasan Falls and Cave
Wondering where to go in Siquijor next? Kawasan Falls is your answer! We have all heard of the famous Kawasan falls in Cebu, well this isn’t it. Its a lot more secluded and some would say way nicer. The star of Siquijor tourism – Kawasan Falls is one of the most beautiful tourist sites on the island. Also reckoned to be a popular romantic spot where you can spend some quality time with your partner, Kawasan Falls has all the charm to connect you directly to nature. And yes, there is a cave under the waterfall which is not that big, but worth a visit. To reach here, you have to walk a narrow path and some stairs for about 10 minutes. However, there are signs next to the road that will lead you to Kawasan Caves.
